NVR Funcons
The Dahua DHI-NVR5216-16P-I combines Analycs+ algorithms with
Dahua's ePoE technology into an all-in-one network video recorder.
This NVR uses a powerful mul-core processor to provide 4K resoluon
processing for applicaons where impeccable image details are required.
The Dahua Analycs+ algorithms signicantly improve accuracy and
reliability, as compared to standard intelligent features, to achieve
precision human facial analysis. The NVR processes 24 facial images
per second on up to four (4) channels of video stream face recognion
and supports 20 face databases that can store up to 100,000 total face
images.
Real-me Face Recognion
Analycs+ performs real-me facial recognion on up to four (4)
streaming video channels simultaneously. The server captures and
analyzes facial features to determine gender, age, expression, glasses,
moustache, and mask, and then can record the faces and store the
associated structured data. The server also lters incoming video to
display faces that match target features.
Please note that the use of facial recognion technology is restricted
or prohibited in some jurisdicons. Users are responsible for ensuring
that their usage of the soluon complies with applicable law, and Dahua
disclaims all liability with respect to any legally non-compliant usage of
the soluon.
Enhanced Power over Ethernet Technology
Dahua's innovave ePoE technology oers a plug-and-play soluon to
transmit power and data over long distances via Ethernet or coaxial
cables, reducing installaon me and saving money. ePoE technology
encompasses pure IP systems where a single CAT5E cable can carry
signals up to 800 m (2624 ), and IP/Analog hybrid systems where the
technology leverages exisng analog infrastructure to transmit signals up
to 1000 m (3281 ) over RG59 coaxial cable.

Complete Soluon to Detect and Monitor Temperatures
Soluon Overview
The Dahua Thermal Temperature Monitoring Soluon oers the latest
hybrid thermal network camera that combines a Vanadium Oxide (VOx)
sensor with a 2 MP visible-light sensor. The soluon also provides a
blackbody calibraon device that maintains a customizable constant
temperature as a reference point for the thermal camera. The thermal
camera coupled with the blackbody calibraon device and a feature-rich
4 TB Network Video Recorder delivers a contactless soluon for
connuous and non-invasive comparison of human skin temperature
compared to the blackbody device. Thermal imaging equipment
can easily be installed and implemented to detect elevated skin
temperature in environments such as airports, hospitals, and clinics.
The Dahua Thermal Temperature Monitoring Soluon is not
FDA-cleared or approved. The Soluon should not be solely or
primarily used to diagnose or exclude a diagnosis of COVID-19 or any
other disease. Elevated body temperature should be conrmed with
secondary evaluaon methods (e.g., an NCIT or clinical grade contact
thermometer). Users, through their experience with the Soluon in
the parcular environment of use, should determine the signicance of
any fever or elevated temperature based on the skin telethermographic
temperature measurement. Visible thermal paerns are only intended
for locang the points from which to extract the thermal measurement.
Thermal Camera Funcons
High Thermal Sensivity
The VOx detector oers high thermal sensivity (≤ 50 mK) that allows
Dahua thermal cameras to disnguish objects in a scene with minimal
temperature dierences. The camera captures detailed images where
thermal contrast between object and background is minimal.
Smart Alarm
The camera is equipped with a white-light illuminator and an external
speaker that can be triggered when the camera detects an abnormal
event (which relies on user-dened parameters) either via the thermal
or the visible-light sensor. The camera also takes a snapshot of the
scene and can record the snapshot.
