Other Functions
1. Setup of Child Lock.
• Move to Child Lock in the Function menu.
• Select Child Lock to “On” using the “/” button.
Note :
• This prevents the use of the TV set without the remote
control.
• If TV is set to Child Lock mode, the LED will cycle through
red/blue for the ST-BY mode (42G1 only).
• If the Child Lock is “On”, then the set can only be switched
back on using the remote control.
2. Setup of MGDI DEMO.
• Move to MGDI DEMO in the Function menu.
• Press the “/” button, and then screen changes as be-
low.
• Press the “MENU” button, and then return to the orig-
inal screen.
3. Setup of VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display).
• Move to VFD in the Function menu.
• Using the “/” button, you can turn ON/OFF the VFD
function.
Note :
• If the VFD is turned off, you can save the power con-
sumption.
4. Setup of NR.
• Move to NR in the Function menu.
• Using “/” button, you can select NR ON or OFF.
Note :
• If the NR is On, the picture noise in the screen is re-
duced.
• Using this function, you can see the picture more clear-
ly.
5. Setup of 100hz DEMO.
• Move to 100hz DEMO in the Function menu.
• Press the “/” button, and then screen change as
below.
• Press the „MENU” button, and then return to the orig-
inal screen.
Note :
• Only 100hz TV models support this function.
