Note:
Pay attention to the tightness of the bolt that
holds the tensioning pulley in the water pump
housing.
7. Remove the crankshaft sprocket and gear.
Degrease the end of the crankshaft.
Reinstall the crankshaft sprocket.
8. Fit the timing belt going around towards
the left starting from the crankshaft sprock-
et. Make sure that the timing belt is tight on
the load side.
9. Degrease the crankshaft belt pulley.
10. Install the crankshaft belt pulley.
11. Measure the length of the screw of the
crankshaft belt pulley. Maximum length:
49.1 mm. If longer: ๎€Ÿit new screw.
12. Screw in the crankshaft belt pulley screw.
New screw: do NOT oil.
13. Tighten the crankshaft belt pulley screw
for the time being. Leave a gap of 2๎€ž3 mm
between the contact surface of the screw
and the crankshaft belt pulley.
14. Loosen the nut of the tensioning pulley.
Turn tensioning pulley to the right until the
movable pointer is at the right stop. Use a
6 mm hex key.
