Setting the device connection
Manages Bluetooth devices or configures the usage
environment. In addition, by connecting the system
and the smartphone, the phone projection function is
activated so that the application of the smartphone can
be controlled from the system screen.
Tap All menus ▶ Settings ▶ Device connection on
the home screen.
Bluetooth
Changes settings related to Bluetooth connection.
 Bluetooth connection: Newly registers a
Bluetooth device to the system or connects or
disconnects the device. Deletes also the
registered device.
 Prioritize automatic connection: Sets the
priority order of Bluetooth devices to
automatically connect to the system when the
engine is started.
 Received message notification: Sets whether
to display a notification window when a
message is received.
 Auto reply message: Edits the autotext of the
reply message. The function may not be
supported depending on the mobile phone
model.
 Privacy mode: Activate the privacy lock mode
to protect the personal information. When this
mode is activated, data downloaded from the
phone is not displayed.
 System Bluetooth information: Checks and
modifies the Bluetooth information in the
system.
 Bluetooth initialization: Deletes all registered
Bluetooth devices and initializes all Bluetooth
settings. All data related to the Bluetooth
device is also deleted.
Android Auto
Activates the Android Auto function to pair the
system with the Android smartphone.
Apple CarPlay
Activates the Apple CarPlay function to pair the
system with the iPhone.
Some Bluetooth setting options are displayed when
a mobile phone is connected to the system.
