Using a Bluetooth phone
You can use the phone function without operating the
mobile phone directly, via Bluetooth connection.
Check the call information on the system screen, and
use the phone function safely and conveniently by
using the microphone and speaker built into the
system.
 Connect the mobile phone after stopping the
vehicle in a safe place. If an accident occurs
due to not looking ahead or carelessness, the
driver or passenger may be killed or injured.
 Do not dial a phone number, or pick up a
mobile phone and talk while driving.
Distracted attention due to the use of a mobile
phone makes it difficult to recognize the flow
of nearby vehicles, and the ability to cope
with unexpected situations significantly
decreases, causing an accident. So, if
necessary, use the Bluetooth hands-free
function to make calls, and minimize the call
time.
Using voice recognition, you can conveniently make
calls while driving, without having to manipulate the
screen.

Making a call
You can make a call from the connected mobile
phone’s recent call list or contact list. You can also
make a call by entering the phone number directly
on the keypad.
1 Tap All menus ▶ Phone on the home screen.
Or press the (
) button on the steering wheel.
2 If multiple mobile phones are registered, select a
mobile phone to connect to when the device
selection window appears.
