Connecting a Bluetooth device
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless networking
technology. If you use the Bluetooth communication
function, you can exchange data by connecting
Bluetooth devices that are close to each other without
a cable connection, so you can use various devices
more efficiently.
To use the Bluetooth function, another device, such as
a mobile phone or MP3 player that supports the
Bluetooth function, must be connected to the system.
Check if the device to be connected supports
Bluetooth.
Connect the Bluetooth device after stopping the
vehicle in a safe place. If an accident occurs due to not
looking ahead or carelessness, the driver or passenger
may be killed or injured.
 The Bluetooth connection function only
supports hands-free and audio-related
functions. Connect and use a device that
supports Bluetooth hands-free or audio
function, such as a mobile phone or MP3
player.

Registering a device
In order to connect a Bluetooth device to the
system, the device must first be registered in the
system’s Bluetooth device list. Up to 5 devices can
be registered.
1 Tap All menus ▶ Settings ▶ Device connections
▶ Bluetooth ▶ Bluetooth connections ▶ Add new
on the home screen.
 When registering a Bluetooth device for the
first time, press the () button on the steering
wheel, or tap All menus ▶ Phone on the
home screen.
2 On the Bluetooth device you want to connect to,
run Bluetooth, and then in the searched device list,
find and select the vehicle’s system.
 Check the Bluetooth name of the system in
the Add new notification window.
3 Check that the authentication number is the same
on the Bluetooth device screen and the system
screen, and then on the device, approve the
connection.
4 Select whether to set the Bluetooth device to be
connected with priority automatically.
 If automatic priority connection is allowed,
the device is automatically connected when
the system is turned on.
