CHARGING SYSTEM
BATTERY
Loosen the screws and remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative
battery cable first, and
then disconnect the positive
cable.
Remove the battery.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
BATTERY(OPEN-CIRCUIT VOLTAGE)
INSPECTION
Remove the battery cover.
Measure the voltage between the battery terminals.
FULL CHARGED : 12.6~13.0 V
INSUFFICIENTLY CHARGED : UNDER 12.3 V
NOTE
Use a voltmeter that will accurately indicate 0.1V
difference.
When measuring the battery voltage after charging,
leave it for at least 30 minutes, or the accurate
results cannot be obtained because the battery
voltage fluctuates just after charging.
BATTERY CHARGING
Remove the battery.
Connect the charging
cable and battery
terminal.
Connect the charging
cable and battery
terminal.
NOTE
Be sure to the battery charging is not allow to
exceed the specified charging time and current.
To avoid the rapid charging could be possible to
reduce the battery life and cause of damage.

LEAK TEST
Turn off the ignition switch, and disconnect the
ground
cable from the battery.
Connect an ampere meter between negative
terminal and ground cable.
With the ignition switch off, measure the leakage
current.
LEAK CURRENT : 0.1A(BELOW)
