When a range hood installation can accommodate a short duct run, Dacor instead recommends installation of a range hood with an integral blower instead of using a REMP series blower.

Installation Instructions Electrical Installation 1. Run the wiring used to supply power from the installed downdraft vent or hood to the blower parallel to the duct work. 2. Make sure that power to the downdraft vent or hood is disconnected or turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. 3.
