02 Freezer / Power Freeze (3 sec)
Freezer
You can use the Freezer button to set the freezer temperature or
to activate and deactivate Power Freeze.
To set the freezer temperature manually, press Freezer
repeatedly. The currently set or selected temperature appears on
the temperature display. Available temperatures are between 5 °F
(-15 °C) and -8 °F (-23 °C).
Power Freeze
Power Freeze speeds up the freezing process at maximum power
to lower the freezer temperature. The freezing process continues
to run for several hours, and then the freezer returns to the
previous temperature setting with normal power.
• To activate Power Freeze, press and hold Freezer for
3 seconds. The corresponding indicator ( ) lights up and the
refrigerator speeds up the freezing process.
• To deactivate Power Freeze, press and hold Freezer for 3
seconds again. The freezer returns to its previous temperature
setting.
• To freeze large amounts of food, activate Power Freeze for at
least 20 hours before putting the food in the freezer.
NOTE
Using Power Freeze increases power consumption. Make sure you
turn it off if you no longer need it and let the refrigerator return
to its previous temperature.
