Starting Your Dishwasher

tion of the various wash settings.
To wash or rinse the dishes:
For best performance, turn on the hot water at a nearby 1.
faucet until the running water is hot. Doing so clears cold
water from the pipes.
Press one of the wash cycle buttons or the rinse 2.
button on the control panel.
Press 3. START/STOP. The numeric display will
show the estimated length of the cycle in min-
utes. (Please see Turbidity Sensor on the page
7 for a complete description).
Close the door.4.
Push on the door handle to make sure that the door is 5.
completely shut. After a brief pause, the dishwasher will
start.
When the wash or rinse cycle is completed, the dishwasher will
make three short beeps.
Adding a Dish After You Start:
You can add a dish, if needed, after starting your dishwasher. Dacor
recommends that you only add items during the rst ve minutes
of operation to make sure they get clean.
To add a dish:
Open the door. The dishwasher will stop operating.1.
Wait a moment for the steam to clear.2.
Without touching any of the hot surfaces or racks, insert the 3.
item into one of the racks, following normal loading instruc-
tions.
Close the door.4.
Push on the door handle to make sure that the door is com-5.
pletely shut. After a short pause, operation will resume.
