Mic Remote
These 3 jumpers change the standard remote
jack on the back of the extender unit from
Fader Start control jack into Studio (Mic) Re-
mote jack. The default setting is Fader start.
When all three jumpers are jumpered to the
right then the remote jack can be connected
to an optional Studio Remote unit.
The above pictured (optional) Studio Remote can be connected to the AIRENCE Extender only to pro-
vide communication from the Presenter to the Studio room with the following possibilities.
1. Switch 1 (Comm)
When pressed the Mic input of the associate channel will be switched from Prog, Sub or Aux
to the Cue buss to be able to communicate with the technician.
1. Switch 2 (Cough)
When pressed the Mic input of the associate channel will be muted, when the presenter need to Cough
or sneeze.
3) Rotary knob
Adjusts the Headphone volume
4) Jack
Stereo Headphone output
5) Audio In
The audio input for the Headphone amplier. Connect with the Announcer output of the Airence mixer.
6) Audio Out
Direct feed trough of the Audio input. To be connected to the next studio remote
7) Remote S1/S2
Switching contacts 1 and 2 connected to the remote jack of the mixer.
