- These are the programmed processing defaults for the modules. Depending on the startup settings these processing defaults will be used at startup (programmed defaults in global configuration).The field ‘Use at source select’ determines if the default module processing in the source configuration is used when a source is assigned via the module source select functionality and no processing preset is assigned in the ‘source configuration’.

7.1 IP/Clock configuration

7.1.1.1 IP
Here you can setup the network settings to be compatible with the required settings in your situation
and you can set the time zone to where you are.
It’s possible to change the IP, subnet, gateway and DNS server address by clicking on the address.

7.1.1.2 Pre-configured engine connections
An surface may connect to a rack via different protocols, here you may select the destination IP and
port to connect to.
In the field ‘MambaNet over’ you select the protocol to use, where Ethernet may be used in a LAN
(with only one rack) and UDP or TCP may be used in LAN and WAN; even with multiple consoles
hooked up in the LAN (They should have ‘MambaNet over Ethernet’ enabled).
