Battery Power
The following are the measures to prevent unexpected system
faults of DOT 400 due to power problems.
Using DOT 400
for the first
time
When you unpack DOT 400, its battery
may have been discharged. Be sure to
charge the battery fully with the battery
charger before use.
Charging the
battery
When charging the battery, be sure to
check that the battery charger and DOT
400 are connected properly and that the
battery charger is well connected to the
electrical outlet.
The battery
Low icon
appears on the
task bar, or the
battery
warning is
displayed in
the dialog box
Charge the battery using the battery
charger. DOT 400 may be used while
charging the battery.
Device looses
power
frequently
while the
power is on
Since the battery power is very low,
charge the battery for a certain period
of time before using DOT 400. If DOT
400 is left uncharged when the battery
power is very low, the power will not be
supplied to the CPU of DOT 400, and
DOT 400 will be hardware reset,
resulting in loss of all data and files
