Select the Alarm check box to enable that alarm input. The Rules and PTZ Rules
options become active.
4. Select your cameras for alarm handling.
Click Rules to display the Alarm In Handling screen as shown below.
Check the cameras from which you want to record an alarm input in the Record
Camera check boxes to enable or disable the camera channel.
Note: In order for a camera to record an alarm, the recording option and type
must be enabled on the Schedule screen. See “Defining a recording schedule” on
page 65 for more information.
5. Define your alarm handling schedule.
In the Alarm Schedule section of the Alarm In Handling screen, define a schedule
for when the TVR 10 will respond to an external alarm. Select the day of the week
and under Period 1 enter the start and end time periods for the selected day.
6. Specify your response method.
Select how you want to be notified of an external alarm. Check one or more of the
following response methods:
Full Screen. Displays the alarm on the screen.
Buzzer. An audible alarm sounds.
Upload to Client. This feature is currently not supported.
Alarm Out. Triggers an alarm output. Up to four alarm outputs can be enabled.
7. Click Confirm to save your settings and return to the Alarms screen.
Note: The TVR 10 prompts you to reboot in order for the schedule to take effect.
8. Set a PTZ link to the alarm.
