Configuring via Web-based Interface
Parameter Description
Operator name
When the needed network is available, the name of the operator is
displayed in this field.
The No service value means that your USB modem has failed to
connect to the network type specified in the Enable USB modem
field.
When the 3G 2G, 2G 3G, or 2G value is selected from the drop-down
list, the No service value shows that neither conventional (2G) nor 3G
network of the operator is available.
When the 3G value is selected from the drop-down list, the No service
value shows that the operator's 3G network is not available. In this case,
the Signal level field displays the signal strength of the operator's
conventional (2G) network.
This field is not displayed for a CDMA USB modem.
Signal level
The signal level at the input of the modem's receiver. The zero signal
level shows that you are out of the coverage area of the selected
operator's network.
Vendor The manufacturer of your USB modem.
Model
The alphanumeric code of the model of your USB modem.
Revision The version of the model of your USB modem.
IMSI
The code stored in the SIM card inserted to your USB modem.
This field is displayed for GSM USB modems only.
IMEI The code stored in the memory of the USB modem.
Refresh
Click the button to refresh the data on the USB modem connected to the
router.
Connect/
Change&Connect
Click the button to connect to the network of the operator. The button is
displayed when the connection is not established.
Disconnect
Click the button to disconnect from the network of the operator. The
button is displayed when the connection to the operator's network is
established or is being established.
