Configuring via Web-based Interface
You can specify the following parameters:
Parameter Description
Name A name for the DHCP server for easier identification.
Interface
A physical interface of the router to which this DHCP server is assigned. The
field is available upon creation of a new DHCP server.
Start address
The start IP address of the address pool used by the DHCP server to distribute
IP addresses to clients.
End address
The end IP address of the address pool used by the DHCP server to distribute IP
addresses to clients.
Lease time
The lifetime of IP addresses leased by the DHCP server, in minutes. At the end
of this period the leased IP address is revoked and can be distributed to another
device, unless the previous device has confirmed the need to keep the address).
Subnet A mask for the address pool.
Broadcast
An IP address for broadcast packets.
Gateway The IP address of the default gateway for the DHCP server.
DNS
The name server IP address distributed by the DHCP server.
Max leases The number of IP addresses in the address pool of the DHCP server.
Click the Change button.
To remove the existing DHCP server, follow the link with the name of the server. On the opened
page, click the Delete button.
To create a DHCP server, click the Add DHCP link. On the opened page, specify the needed
parameters and click the Change button.
