Configuring via Web-based Interface
Parameter Description
Reconnect mode
A method used to connect to the network of the operator. Select a value
from the drop-down list.
Always On: The router connects to the Internet via the network of the
operator when loaded and keeps the connection active (you don't need
to access the web-based interface to establish connection to the
Internet). This value is set by default.
Connect On Demand: The router automatically connects to the
Internet via the network of the operator when it receives a request from
an application installed on a computer from your LAN (you don't need
to access the web-based interface to establish connection to the
Internet).
Manual: The Internet connection is established manually via the web-
based interface of the router.
Maximum idle time
The maximum inactivity period of the Internet connection in minutes.
After the specified period the router breaks the Internet connection and
reestablishes the connection after the request to connect to the Internet.
You can specify this parameter when the Connect On Demand value
is selected from the Reconnect mode drop-down list.
MTU
The maximum transmission unit in the interface. Optional.
When you have configured the settings, click the Change button.
