Firmware Upgrade Procedures
The KVM switch provides the rmware upgrade for the following functions:
• USB console: Update for USB console keyboard/mouse compatibility.
The rmware lename for USB console is like Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.USB.
• PS/2 console: Update for PS/2 console keyboard/mouse compatibility.
The rmware lename for PS/2 console is like Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.PS2.
• OSD: Update for on-screen-display functions.
The rmware lename for OSD is like Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.OSD.
To update the rmware, please follow the instructions below:
1. Disconnects all the KVM cables between the switch and the computers.
2. Disconnects the keyboard and mouse plugged on the KVM Switch.
3. Disconnects the VGA cable between the KVM switch and the monitor.
4. Connect the DC 5V adapter to your power outlet and the KVM switch.
