Section 3 - Conguration
Internet Connection Setup
Click Manual Internet Connection Setup to congure your
connection manually and continue to the next page.
If you want to congure your router to connect to the Internet
using the wizard, click
Internet Connection Setup Wizard.
You will be directed to the Quick Setup Wizard. Please refer
to page 14.
The next few pages will explain each of the ISP connection types.
You can select the type from the
My Internet Connection Is
drop-down menu.
You may also congure your router to be a wireless client/bridge.
This is useful if you want to connect Ethernet devices to your
wireless network if you currently had a wireless router. Please
refer to page 41 for more information.
Note: For 802.11ac performance, you must connect to another
802.11ac wireless router. The DIR-865L will automatically adjust to
the connection type of your router.
Also, if bridge mode is enabled, all router functions (NAT, ltering,
DHCP server, etc) will be disabled as well as mydlink and SharePort
Mobile functions.
