Section 3 - Conguration
Set the method to obtain an IP address for the
connection: DHCP, Static, or PPPoE.
Set a host name. Some ISPs require a host name
be provided when requesting an IP address using
DHCP. The default host name is DIR-627.
Set the domain name provided to LAN clients who
request an IP address through DHCP.
Some ISPs require users to enter a specic MAC
address. This MAC cloning feature allows users
to set the MAC address of the WAN interface. The
MAC address format is: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX.
Set the IP address of the connection.
Set the IP netmask of the connection.
Set the IP address of the default gateway of the
connection.
Set the primary and secondary IP addresses of the
DNS servers used for resolving host names.
Set the user name for authentication with a PPPoE
server.
Set the password for authentication with a PPPoE
server.
