Section 3 - Conguration
MAC Filtering
The MAC (Media Access Controller) Address lter option is used to control network access based on the MAC Address of the
client device. This feature can be congured to ALLOW or DENY network/Internet access for this client. Click Save Settings to
apply your settings.
Select how the rule will work: Turn MAC Filtering OFF, Turn
MAC Filtering ON and ALLOW computers, or Turn MAC
Filtering ON and DENY computers listed.
Check the box to enable the rule.
Enter the MAC Address of the device that the rule will aect.
You can also choose from the DHCP Client List drop-down
box.
Select a Computer Name from the list.
This sets the schedule for when the lter will be enabled.
The schedule may be set to Always, which will allow the
particular service to always be enabled. You can create
your own times by clicking Add New as well as in the
Maintenance > Schedules section.
