Section 3 - Configuration
Log Settings
The Router keeps a running log of events and activities occurring on the device. You can dene what types of events
you want to view and the level of the events to view. The Router also has external Syslog Server support, so you can
send the log les to a computer on your network that is running a Syslog utility.
Click the Save button to save the log le to
your local hard drive.
Tick this check box to send the Router logs to
a SysLog Server.
The address of the SysLog server that will be
used to send the logs. You may also select
your computer from the drop-down menu (only
if receiving an IP address from the Router via
DHCP).
Tick the desired type(s) of logs that should be
displayed: System, Firewall & Security, and
Router Status.
Tick the desired level(s) of importance:
Critical, Warning, and Information.
Enter the e-mail address where you want the
email sent.
Enter a subject description for your e-mail.
This e-mail address will appear as the sender
when you receive a log file or firmware
upgrade notication via e-mail.
