Section 2 - Installation
Connecting to Your DIR-510L
To congure the router, you will need to connect to it wirelessly from your mobile device or computer.

Note: If you have a device that supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, please refer
to ”WPS Button” on page 108.
t Once connected, open a Web browser on your mobile or
computer and type http://dlinkrouter.local. or http://
dlinkrouter in the URL address box.
t Turn on DIR-510L by sliding the ON/OFF/CHARGER switch
to ON.
t On your computer or mobile device, connect to the DIR-510L’s
wireless network. By default, the settings are:
t2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID): DIR510L
t5 GHz Wi-Fi Network Name: DIR510L_5GHz
tPassword: (leave this blank)
t At the login page, enter the Admin Password. By default, it
should be left blank. Click Log In.
