show dhcp-client

Displays DHCP client information for all VLANs.

Syntax: show dhcp-client

Defaults: None

Access: All

Examples: The following command displays DHCP client information:

DWS-1008# show dhcp-client

Interface: corpvlan(4)

Conﬁguration Status: Enabled

DHCP State: IF_UP

Lease Allocation: 65535 seconds

Lease Remaining: 65532 seconds

IP Address: 10.3.1.110

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 10.3.1.1

DHCP Server: 10.3.1.4

DNS Servers: 10.3.1.29

DNS Domain Name: mycorp.com

The table below describes the ﬁelds in this display.

Field Description

Interface VLAN name and number.

Conﬁguration Status Status of the DHCP client on this VLAN:

• Enabled

• Disabled

DHCP State State of the IP interface:

• IF_UP

• IF_DOWN

Lease Allocation Duration of the address lease.

Lease Remaining Number of seconds remaining before the address lease expires.

IP Address IP address received from the DHCP server.
