8. Paste the signed certicate text block into the switch’s CLI, below the prompt.
9. Display information about the certicate, to verify it:
DWS-1008# show crypto certicate eap
10. Repeat Create a CSR (PKCS #10 object le) to request an ad through Display information
about the certicate, to verify it: to obtain and install EAP (802.1X) certicate.
11. Obtain the CA’s own certicate.
12. To install the CA’s certicate on the switch and help authenticate the switch’s EAP
certicate, type the following command to display a prompt:
DWS-1008# crypto ca-certicate eap
Enter PEM-encoded certificate
13. Paste the CA’s signed certicate under the prompt.
14. Display information about the CA’s certicate, to verify it:
DWS-1008# show crypto ca-certicate eap
15. Repeat To install the CA’s certicate on the switch through Display information about
the CA’s certicate, to verify it: to install the CA’s certicate for EAP (802.1X).
