QUICK SETUP

If you chose to manually assign the VPI and VCI values, additional

parameters will appear that allow you to set up the ATM PVC

configuration. Enter a Port Identifier (PORT), Virtual Path Identifier (VPI),

and Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI). The VPI and VCI values should be

provided by your ISP. This window also allows you to enable QoS by

ticking the Enable Quality of Service check box.

Click the Next button to continue.

QUICK SETUP – CONNECTION TYPE

This window allows you to select the appropriate connection type. The

choices include PPP over ATM (PPPoA), PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE),

MAC Encapsulation Routing (MER), IP over ATM (IPoA), and Bridging

(default).

This window also allows you to use the drop-down menu to select the

desired Encapsulation Mode.
