Login Method
Select the appropriate login method to access files for download
· Account – If the download site employs restricted access, check this button
and enter in the User Name and Password in the appropriate fields provided
below this button.
· Anonymous – Click this button if this job is a local (drive/PC to drive) backup
or the download site does not require any login information.
Type
Select the appropriate type of content for download or backup
· File – Click this button if a single file is being transferred
· Folder – Click this button if an entire folder of files is being transferred
URL
Enter a valid URL to the remote location from which you wish to initiate a file or folder
transfer.
To initiate a remote FTP or HTTP file or folder transfer, refer to the following examples
of valid URL formats:
· ftp://123.45.67.89/Test (for a folder transfer)
· ftp://123.45.67.89/Test/hello.txt (for a single file transfer)
· http://www.abc123.org/Test (transfer from an HTTP site)
To initiate a local PC (same network as DNS-120) file or folder transfer, refer to the
following example of the valid URL format.
· \\192.168.0.100\Test
The local PC’s internal IP address must be known and be accessible to the DNS-120 on
the network.

valid, you will see one of the message boxes below:
This screen will display if the URL is valid.
File size will either be a figure in bytes (single
file transfer) or “Unknown” (folder transfer).
URL Valid
