External Blogs
You can create references to External blogs. Click on External Blogs of User
Portal tab to view currently created external blogs references as shown in the
following figure. These references will be displayed in the User Portal. These
external blogs will be visible to all the portal users and are not user specific.
To add new external blog, click on the hyperlink Add new external blog. Here
you need to provide the External Blog Name and URI of External Blog Link
and finally press Apply Changes button. You can modify/delete the external
blogs created using the modify/delete links.
The difference between Blogs under “Manage Views” and “External Blogs” is that
incase of the first one, the blog will be static html pages, which are stored locally
on some local server, and in case of external blogs, they actually point to some
external web server that is hosting the blogs.

You can create a maximum of 5 external blogs at a time.

The length of the external blog name is restricted to sixty characters.
