Email Settings
The E-mail feature can be used to send the system log les, router alert messages, and rmware update notication
to your e-mail address.

When this option is enabled, router activity logs
are e-mailed to a designated e-mail address.
This e-mail address will appear as the sender
when you receive a log le or rmware upgrade
notication via e-mail.
Enter the e-mail address where you want the
e-mail sent.
Enter a Subject for the e-mail messages that will
be sent from the DIR-685.
Enter the SMTP server address for sending
e-mail.
Enter the Port Number used by your SMTP
Server.
Tick this box if your SMTP server requires
authentication.
If ticking the Enable Authentication checkbox, enter the account used to authenticate with the SMTP server.
Enter the password associated with the account used to authenticate with the SMTP Server. Re-type the password associated
with the account in the Verify Password eld.
Click this button to send a test e-mail from the DIR-685 to the e-mail address specied in the To Email Address eld.
