Command: clear counters
Success.

clear log
Purpose Used to clear the Switch’s history log.
Syntax
clear log
Description This command will clear the Switch’s history log.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To clear the log information:
DGS3048#clear log
Command: clear log
Success.

show log
Purpose Used to display the Switch history log.
Syntax
show log {index <value>}
Description This command will display the contents of the Switch’s history log.
Parameters
index <value> − The show log command will display the history log
until the log number reaches this value.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the Switch history log:
DGS3048##show log
