config bandwidth_control
Purpose Used to configure bandwidth control on a by-port basis.
Syntax
config bandwidth_control <portlist> rx_rate [no_limit | 64K | 128K

Description
The config bandwidth_control command is used to configure
bandwidth on a by-port basis.
Parameters <portlist> - Specifies a port or range of ports to be configured for
bandwidth control.
rx_rate – Enter this parameter to specify control of the rate data is
received on the Switch using the following parameters. If the received
rate of data exceeds the speed configured here, excess packets will
be dropped or flow controlled.
[no_limit | 64K | 128K | 256K | 512K | 1M | 2M | 4M | 8M | 16M | 32M |
64M | 128M | 256M | 512M] – Bandwidth control may only be set for
the specific rates listed here, from 64kbps to 512Mbps. Choosing the
no_limit parameter will not place any restrictions on the received rate
of data.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the RX bandwidth control for port 10 as 1 Mbps:
DGS-3024:4#config bandwidth_control 10 rx_rate 1M
Command: config bandwidth_control 10 rx_rate 1M
Success.
