LED Indicators

The LED indicators of the Switch include Power, Link/Act and Speed. The following shows the LED indicators for the

Switch along with an explanation of each indicator.

Comprehensive LED indicators display the conditions of the Switch and status of the network. A description of these

LED indicators follows (see LED Indicators). The LED indicators of the Switch include Power, Link/Act andSpeed , as

described below. .

For DGS-1005A:

 Power Indicator

This green indicator light is on when the Switch is receiving power; otherwise, it is off.

 Link/Act/Speed

When connected to a 1000Mbps device, this LED indicator light is green when the port is connected to a

device and will blink as data is transmitted or received.

When connected to a 10/100Mbps device, this LED indicator light is off when the port is connected to a

device and will blink as data is transmitted or received.

For DGS-1008A:

 Power Indicator

This green indicator light is on when the Switch is receiving power; otherwise, it is off.

 Link/Act/Speed

When connected to a 100/1000Mbps device, this LED indicator light is green when the port is connected to a

device and will blink as data is transmitted or received.

When connected to a 10Mbps device, this LED indicator light is off when the port is connected to a device

and will blink as data is transmitted or received.
