config ip vlan
Purpose Used to designate the management VLAN.
Syntax config ip vlan <VLAN name>
Description This is used to designate a previously
created VLAN as the VLAN from which
management of the switch is allowed. By
default, the VLAN named default is the
management VLAN.
Parameters VLAN name – Name of previously created
VLAN (see Chapter 14, VLAN Commands).
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
DES-7100:4#config ip vlan vlan1
Command: config ip vlan vlan1
Success.
