config start_dst
Purpose Used to configure the date when Daylight
Savings Time (DST) goes into effect.
Syntax config start_dst
[month
<Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep/
Oct/Nov/Dec>
week <last/first/second/third/fourth>
day <Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat>]
Description Use this to define the date when DST begins.
Parameters month – Define the month in which DST begins.
week – Define the week of the month in which
DST begins.
day – Define the day of the week in which DST
begins.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
Usage Example
To configure DST start time and date:
DES-7100:4/systemtime#config start_dst month Oct week last
day Sun
Command: config start_dst month Oct week last day Sun
Success.
