clear fdb_static
Purpose Used to clear the switch’s forwarding
database of static MAC address entries.
Syntax clear fdb [vlan <vlan_name>/port
<port>/all]
Description This command is used to clear static
entries to the switch’s forwarding database.
Parameters
<vlan_name> − The name of the VLAN on
being cleared of static MAC address entries.
<port> − Clears the static MAC address
entries for the port number through which
the entries are forwarded.
all − Clears all static entries to the switch’s
forwarding database.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
To clear all FDB dynamic entries:
DES7000:4@#clear fdb all
Command: clear fdb all
Success.
