Click “Open”, a window as below will popup:

Enter the user name and password (Default user name/ password: admin/password) respectively,
you will see “DAP-3860>”, which is the name of DAP-3860;
Enter “help” command to get setting information; alternatively, you can refer to Appendix C. SSH
Settings for details.
SNMP SETTINGS
The DAP-3860 supports SNMP management. Set the SNMP parameters and obtain MIB file before remote
management.
From “Remote Management” in “Administrator Settings”, set the parameters for SNMP:
- Enable SNMP by checking “Enable”;
- Specify the “Public Community String”, “Private Community String” and “Trap Server IP”
- Hit “Apply” to save settings.
Obtain MIB file via FTP:
- Enter ftp 192.168.0.50 , user name (Default: admin) and password (Default: Null);
- After successful login, enter command “get Dlink.mib”, the information will as below and then
bridge.mib file is obtained.
