The DHCP address pool defines the range of IP addresses that can be assigned to stations on the net w or k . A static pool allows specific wireless
stations to receive a fixed IP without time c on tr ol .

management and allows new wireless devices
to
receive IP addresses automatically w it ho ut
the need to manually assign IP addresses. S elec t

U se the S ta tic P ool S ettings to assign the same IP
address to a device every time you star t up . T he
IP addresses assigned in the S ta tic Pool list must
NOT be in the same IP range as the Dynamic
P ool . After you have assigned a static IP addr ess
to a device via its MAC address, click A pply ; the
device will appear in the Assigned S ta tic Pool at
the bottom of the
screen. You can edit or delete
the device in this list .
