6.8 Network Shares 137
Enter a name for the network share into the field SHARE NAME .
This name will appear in the list Current Shares once the network
share is set up.
Choose a user from the drop-down list User.
Click on CHOOSE to choose a partition.

From the drop-down list Partition choose a device or a partition if
several partitions are shown.
Click on ACCEPT.
Back on the previous page assign Write Access , if necessary.
Otherwise users can only read the files.
Next decide whether to activate the share. You may set up net-
work shares and enable them later.
To save the settings, click on SAVE.
If an error occurs you will see an error message (red frame).
Change the settings in the box with the red frame and again click
on SAVE.
