Dynamic DNS
The DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) feature allows you
to host a server (Web, FTP, Game Server) using a domain name
that you have purchased (www.whateveryournameis.com) with
your dynamically assigned IP address. Most broadband Internet
Service Providers assign dynamic (changing) IP addresses. Using a
DDNS service provider, your friends can enter your domain name
to connect to your server no matter what your IP address is.
Click Add to reveal Dynamic DNS conguration options.
DDNS provider:
Select one of the Dynamic DNS organizations
from the menu.
Host Name:
Enter the hostname you registered with the
Dynamic DNS provider.
Interface:
Select the appropriate interface.
Username:
Enter the username for your Dynamic DNS
account.
Password:
Enter the password for your Dynamic DNS
account.
