config vlan
Purpose Used to add additional ports to a previously
configured VLAN.
Syntax
config vlan <vlan_name 32> { [ add [ tagged |
untagged | forbidden ] | delete ] <portlist> |
advertisement [ enable | disable]}
Description This command allows you to add ports to the
port list of a previously configured VLAN. You
can specify the additional ports as tagging,
untagging, or forbidden. The default is to assign
the ports as untagging.
Parameters
<vlan_name 32> − The name of the VLAN you
want to add ports to.
add − Specifies all of the ports on the switch.
tagged − Specifies the additional ports as
tagged.
untagged − Specifies the additional ports as
untagged.
forbidden − Specifies the additional ports as
forbidden.
delete − Deletes the above specified VLAN from
the switch.
<portlist> − A range of ports to add to the VLAN.
The port list is specified by listing the lowest
switch number and the beginning port number
on that switch, separated by a colon. Then the
highest switch number, and the highest port
number of the range (also separated by a colon)
are specified. The beginning and end of the port
list range are separated by a dash. For
example, 1:3 specifies switch number 1, port 3.
2:4 specifies switch number 2, port 4. 1:3-2:4
specifies all of the ports between switch 1, port
3 and switch 2, port 4 − in numerical order.
