config syslog host
Purpose Used to configure the syslog protocol to send
system log data to a remote host.
Syntax
config syslog host [all|<index 1-4>] {severity
[informational|warning|all]|
facility[local0|local1|local2|local3|
local4|local5|local6|local7]|udp_port<int>|
ipaddress <ipaddr>| state[enabled|disabled]
Description
The config syslog host command is used to
configure the syslog protocol to send system log
information to a remote host.
Parameters
all − Specifies that the command will be applied
to all hosts.
<index 1-4> − Specifies that the command will
be applied to an index of hosts. There are four
available indexes, numbered 1 through 4.
severity − Severity level indicator. These are
described in the following:
Bold font indicates that the corresponding
severity level is currently supported on the
switch.

0 Emergency: system is unusable
1 Alert: action must be taken immediately
2 Critical: critical conditions
3 Error: error conditions
4 Warning: warning conditions
5 Notice: normal but significant condition
6 Informational: informational messages
7 Debug: debug-level messages
