Recalling a snapshot will perform a system-wide memory
recall. Initially, only complete snapshot memories will be
shown in the list of available locations, but ticking “Show
All” will show the locations of all memories that have
something stored in them somewhere on the system.
In this example, only location 01 would be shown initially, as
it is the only location with a full snapshot stored. If “Show
All” is ticked, the other locations are displayed, but greyed
out.
Note that when storing a complete unit memory (as would be
stored in a snapshot), system-wide snapshot memories are
shown in the store window by having a white border, as
opposed to a grey border for normal unit memories.
In this example, memory 13 is a unit memory, whilst memory
14 (containing a complete unit setup as well) is also part of a
snapshot memory.
Setting a limit on memories uploaded when going on-line
If you only have a small number of memories stored in each unit on the
system, the time to connect can be significantly shortened by selecting the
lowest number of memories to be scanned and uploaded.
This is chosen through File Options Memory Allocation.
If it is required to upload presets from 4 Series units, the number of these
requested can also be set here, starting with “None” through to a
maximum of 60. These will appear in the memory recall list numbered
from 256 upwards.
