Memory management and access
The memory management and access features in this version of AudioCore have been completely revised to allow
individual unit memory store and recall, as well as snapshot store and recall across the entire system.
In addition, the handling of the different memory types (Input and Crossover in DP224/6/6i, with additional Graphic
memories in the 4 Series) has been improved to make it much simpler and easier to understand.
A right click on any device will display a floating
menu than includes the memory store/recall and
rename/delete functions.
These relate only to this particular device
and will not recall memories on any other
units.
Depending on the type of device, choosing to
store or recall will display a further list of choices
detailing what can be stored.
In this example for a DP448, it can be seen that
the three possible memory types and all their
combinations are listed.
Choosing a particular type will then bring up a window with just that type of memory listed as appropriate. In this case, a
window of the form shown below would appear.
Note the tri-coloured icons to the left of the memory names – these show
the current contents of each used memory location.
RED = Graphic EQ [graphic
eq, type, bypass state]
YELLOW = Input settings
[parametrics, gain delay,
mute]
CYAN = Crossover
settings [all output eq,
dynamics, delay, mute,
polarity]
