• NAT traversal Settings
- Enable - when enabled, the NVR attempt to configure port mapping in a NAT router on your
network, using UPnP™.
Note that UPnP™ must be enabled in the NVR (see System>Network>UPnP).
* Automatic setting: The NVR automatically search for NAT routers on your network.
* Manual setting: Select this option to manually select a NAT router and enter the external
port number for the router in the field provided.
Notes:
- If you attempt to manually enter a port that is already in use, an alert message will be displayed.
- When the port is selected automatically it is displayed in this field. To change this enter a new
port number and click Save.
9) Zeroconfig
Zeroconfig allows the NVR to create and assign IP address for network cameras and connect to a
network automatically.
Zero
config
uration networking (zeroconf), is a set of techniques that automatically creates a usable
Internet Protocol (IP) network without manual operator intervention
or sp
ecial configuration servers.
Zero configuration networking allows devices such as computers and printers to connect to a network
automatically. Without zeroconf, a network administrator must set up services, such as Dynamic Host
Config
uratio
n Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS), or configure each computer's
network
settings manually, which may be difficult and time-consuming.
