• Connecting RS232
An RS232 port is provided to connect a text-in device like a POS. Use a RS232 cable with a DB-
9S (female) connector to connect to the NVR.

Connecting USB
The NVR supports one USB interface for connecting external storage devices; It is located on the
left side of body. You can backup some video clips of internal HDDs to the external HDDs or
Memory Stick connected through USB port.

ecting External SATA
The NVR supports an external SATA interface for connecting external storage devices; one
SATA port is located on the right side of body. You can expand storage capacity by utilizing the
internal HDDs and external SATA port.
An external SATA HDD can be connected to this SATA port. This port is composed of signal and
power connectors.

Follow next steps.
1. Turn NVR power off
2. Connect external SATA power and signal cables
3. Turn NVR power on
