Types of Users
The administrator can also authorize a user to access devices connected to
KVM ports and to manage power outlets on a connected AlterPath PM IPDU.
Configuring Groups
When configuring a group, the administrator can do the following:
• Assign a name to the group
• Assigns users to the group
• Authorize the group to access devices connected to KVM ports
Tasks: Configuring Users
The following table lists the procedures for creating accounts for regular non-
administrative users, specifying which KVM ports and serial ports users can
access, and specifying which power outlets users can control through the Web
Manager
