To continue the example, because of the KVM permission settings, jamesi can
connect to KVM port 2 with Read Only access, he can connect to ports 3 with
Read Write access, and he can connect to port 4 with Read/Write/Power
Management access.
T To Add a User [Expert]
1. Go to Configuration>Security>Users & Groups in Expert mode.
The Users & Groups screen displays.
2. Click “Add.”
The “Add User” dialog box displays.
3. Enter the name in the “User Name” field.
4. Enter the password in the “Password” and “Repeat Password” fields.
5. Assign a group from the “Group” pull-down menu.
6. Optional: Select a shell from the “Shell” pull-down menu.
7. Optional: Enter information, as desired, about the user’s role or
responsibilities.
8. Click OK.
9. Click “apply changes.”
T To Delete a User or Group [Expert]
1. Go to Configuration>Security>Users & Groups in Expert mode.
The Users & Groups screen displays.
2. Select the name of a user or group to delete.
3. Click “Delete.”
4. Click “apply changes.”
T To Change a User’s Password [Expert]
1. Go to Configuration>Security>Users & Groups in Expert mode.
