Administering Users of Connected Devices
• Obtain usernames and passwords for connected devices to give to the
users of connected devices.
• Create meaningful aliases to assign to port numbers to identify the devices
to be connected
Tasks for Configuring Connected Devices
During hardware installation of the OnSite, the installer connects the servers
and devices and any IPDUs and modems to the ports.
During software configuration, the OnSite administrator does the common
tasks in the following table, if desired.
