Caution! All devices connected to the private Ethernet ports of the OnBoard
must have a previously-configured private subnet name assigned. The Caution
at the top of the dialog shown in Figure 7-3 is a reminder that if the default
route is assigned instead of a private subnet, the device can only be accessed if
it is connected to the public interface of the OnBoard, a highly unlikely
scenario and not recommended.
Table 1-24, “Device Configuration Parameters,” on page 50 lists the
parameters that must be configured for each device.
The Web Manager displays devices in the order in which they are configured.
An OnBoard administrator can configure device lists to appear in alphabetical
order using the cycli utility. See “Changing the Sort Order of Device
Listings” on page 103.
