REGISTRATION OF HANDSET
The first registered handset will be autom atically assigned as HS-1 to the base unit.
W hen additional handsets are registered to the system , they will be assigned extension
num bers in the following sequence: HS-2, HS-3, and up to HS-8.
On the Base Unit:
Press [MENU] and “REGISTRATION” appears on the
display.
Press [O.K.] and “W AITING REGISTER” is displayed.
You are now ready to register your handset.
Note: The base unit will return to standby m ode if no
handset registration takes place within 25 seconds.
On the Handset:
After the handset is charged, rem ove it from the base
unit. “HS_ _” is displayed
Press [MENU] and “REGISTRATION” appears on the
display.
Press [O.K.] and select “ADD A H ANDSET?”.
Press [O.K.] to register and “CONNECTING” is
displayed for 1 to 2 seconds.
If the handset displays “REG OK NEW ID=1”, the
connection with the base unit is established.
If the handset displays “NO CONNECTION”, repeat the
previous steps.
